Boston University - Distance Learning Master’s Program
The Manufacturing Engineering Department is a pioneer in distance
learning by videoconferencing, graduating its first MS degree by
Distance Learning in May 1992. The Distance Learning Program, comprising
courses identical to the on-campus degree, helps keep rising professionals
on a technical track. Talented engineers are able to remain on the
job while earning an advanced degree. The program may be completed
in approximately three years and leads to the Master of Science
in Manufacturing Engineering. The department conducts live classes
concurrently at a multitude of industrial sites with complete two-way
video and audio interaction using videoconferencing technology.
